Plumbing. Low pressure @ kitchen sink, good pressure for toilet and Washer. Items to troubleshoot?

Recent remodel construction of single wide trailer. Water pressure is good when toilet flushes, and good for using Washer, however, pressure in shower and kitchen sink is definitely low pressure. What items should I troubleshoot to fix flow problem? Thanks

a constriction in the water supply line that is in the path of the shower and kitchen sink is my guess. To test that theory, if you can get access to view the water lines, look to see if there is a clear path from the water main to the fixtures running well. Then look to see if there is an offshoot that serves both the sink and shower. The constriction would be on the part of the service that serves both the slow fixtures and neither of the fast ones. That should narrow it down to a pretty short portion of the water lines.

I have a mobile home, all my water pressure works fine except for the cold water in the kitchen, it is a small stream. Any ideas on what is wrong and how to fix it?
I didnt see a way to reply so I will just add details.

I live in a trailer park so it is not a well, basically city water.

I have nowhere to turn the water off under the sink, the water lines just lead under the floor and back to the hot water heater I guess.

It is not the faucet because I have a line leading out of it for my refrigerator ice maker/water dispenser and that is also getting low water pressure.

first of all do you have a well?
second did you check under the sink to see if it is turned on all the way?
third if it is on all the way then you need to clean out you pipe to the faucet.

1.) turn off the water under the sink
2.)look for a screw,allen hex,screw or a emblem on the handle if you have two handlesflip up the top and there should be a screw.
3.)take off handles and there should be a plastic insert in there.
4.)pull out butr make sure you see how it comes out so you know how they go back in so your water turns on & off the same way ( take pictures with camera or phone).
5.)turn the water back on just a little to blow out anything in the line.
6.)check washers on plastic piecemight want to go to home depot and pick up a set of universal set of rubber o rings (washers).
7.)after you turn the water off unhook the cold water line ind check the screen on the water line (if you have a well you may have some mud or debree in this screen).
8.)put back together ( hope you took pictures or you got a good memory ).
9.)turn water backon and water should be good now.
Total time should be 30 min to 1 hour depending on you.

Why does my kitchen sink not get water pressure when on cold?

It works fine on hot but just a small slow stream comes out on cold. The other sinks in the house work fine. I have checked the shut off under the sink and it is fully on.

It either needs the washer or the brass barrel inside the tap replacing. You will need to turn the water off from underneath the sink.

Try fitting a new washer first, if that does not improve things take the top of the tap off again and remove the brass barrel. Take this to a plumbers merchant or a large D.I.Y. store to enable you to get the correct size. They are sold in pairs and cost about £15.

If you are reluctant to remove the barrel, buy several sizes on sale or return and ask for in store advice on how to remove and replace the barrel. B&Q have in store plumbers.
I watched a plumber doing this, then when a tap in another room went kaput I did it myself.

kitchen sink tap burst, water sprayed everywhere...I had kitchen faucet replaced...now theres banging/knock...?

now theres banging/knocking like noises when i turn the water on in the kitchen sink.? Could there be something more wrong?What is this noise, I'm scared to turn it on again.
there is no water shut off valve under the sink for some reason, it's actually in the basement. The banging/knocking actually stopped now after a day of working in the new faucet i imagine but i am still very worried there could still be something wrong and this could happen again. There was no warning or issues of any kind with the tap when it burst out of nowhere, nobody was even at the sink using it and nobody was using any water at all when this happend?

this can be a loose washer on the faucet or the shut off valve under your kitchen sink. if its loose, this washer wil bounce back and forth as the water flow increases and decreases due to pressure. i would look into the shut off valve on the sink first. best of luck

The water pressure in my kitchen sink is very low. The bathrooms and the laundry are fine. How do I fix this?

remove the screw thing ( aerator)on the end of the spout.....make sure the rubber washer comes out of the spout also.....then turn it on....if the pressure is better then clean...or replace aerator...if you replace it take it with you to the store to match it up.if it aint the problem just add

You might have packed drain lines. Old grease and slim build up making the line smaller inside. This makes the large volume of water that comes out of the washer back up. If the washer and sink are real close together .... like the washer is on the a same wall. You might have something caught in a (Y) they share. A sock or something.

Unless you have a septic tank. Try a line opener you can poor down the line. both in the washer drain and kitchen.

If the mobile is on a septic don't use any drano type stuff. It will mess up the break down cycle in the tank. Don't use any of those pressure openers on an old system either. It could blow your pipes apart.

Also, drain lines have air vents. Usually the smell will go up there. This could mean there is something in it like a bird or a wasp hive.

Does it happen after a bath or a flushing?

The faucet's pressure has gone down the last couple of days, but it changes, one day it was about half normal, the next is was barely streaming, but then yesterday it was working fine again. Today its back to halfway. The sprayer works fine still, and I haven't noticed any other problems with any other sink in the house. Anyone have any ideas?

The aerator is always the first place to look. Unscrew, by force if necessary, and clean in some vinegar being careful not to lose the washers (block the drain). If that doesn't do it there might be something in the supply lines. Look under the sink and you'll see them. Turn off both of the valves and loosen the hoses over a bowl. Open the faucet, not the valves, and let them drain. Try to blow through the faucet if you can to help clear the hoses. Now one by one turn the valves on just a little with the bowl underneath to clear any obstruction there. Reattach the hoses, take your clean aerator back off and clear the line again. If that does not work it's your faucet cartridge. Call someone who knows what that is at this point.
