Craftsman Pressure Washer Help?

Q. I borrowed my boss's pressure washer from work. I have used it alot..though the only thing I have never used is the soap setting, which is why I brought it to my house to clean off some things. However, I know I need the recommended soap, but I have been reading forums and the manual online and I still have no clue how I am supposed to get the soap into the washer. It says to use the siphon tube..I have no clue what that is..I just know there is a handle with a top part and it has adjustable settings and I can change it to soap, but I have no clue where the compartment is to put the soap in or how to get it in the washer. If anyone has information that would be really helpful, or knows if somewhere online I can watch a video to learn how to do it. Thanks.

Answer
If yours is like mine you should see a clear hose coming from the pump. It might be tied up somewhere or the boss could of got mad at it for getting in the way and took it off. Anyway if you don't see a hose look for a barb fitting on the pump somewhere this is where the hose should go. The hose might have a small strainer on the end. The better models do. Just take this hose and put it in the bottle of cleaner. Set it to soap setting and it will suck the soap out of the bottle.

How can I fix a possible leak in the wall?
My mom's been complaining that she smelled something weird, and occasionally, I noticed it smelled kind of musty. Today, I was looking for the source of the smell, and I was near the wall and heard a bubbling sound. I put my hand to the wall, and found a soft spot. It wasn't wet, but very soft. I think if I applied more pressure I would've poked a hole in the wall. The spot is relatively small, about an inch or two in diameter, and about two or three inches from the floor. Parts of the carpet feel slightly damp.

So part of my issue is that I live in an attached house. The wall where this is happening is connected to my neighbor's wall. I know the layout of her house, and it's likely that either her washing machine or dishwasher is very close to the affected wall on my side, and my mom has said that she hears a bubbling sound every time my neighbor does laundry. I don't know if the leak is coming from her house or mine.

Another problem is that my mom really don't have the money for a plumber. My father just passed, and my mom's disabled, so she can't work. I'm a full time college student, and now I need to take on the half of the bills my dad used to pay. I only have a minimum wage job (though in the process of looking for something better). So when I say money is tight right now, I really mean it. That's why I want to fix it sans the help/expenses of a plumber. I'm pretty handy around the house, but I've never dealt with a leak before. Basically I'm just looking for some DIY advice. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

Answer
The first thing you need to do is talk to your neighbor and find out if there is a water problem on her side of the wall. If her plumbing is causing the problem it should be her responsibility to fix it. That includes damage done to your house. Her homeowners liability insurance should cover the damage to your house. When you talk to the neighbor ask to inspect the connections to the washing machine. It might be something as simple as a hose washer. If the leak is not visible from her laundry room it's back to your house. Cut into the wall with a utility knife and expose the pipes. I am assuming the walls are plaster or sheetrock. Once the leaking pipe is accessible It should be pretty easy to fix. If you don't feel safe doing the repair it is a quick job for a plumber at this point. You will have done half of the work by locating the problem. If you want to attempt it yourself it should be easy to find a video lesson on soldering a pipe by searching youtube. After that, keep looking for a video lesson on drywall or plaster repair.

What type of handle is this called or where can i get a similar 1.?

So i decided to make a high pressure gun like the one on this site.

http://patator.frbb.net/vos-pacs-personnels-a-vous-f9/le-sniper-m25-de-neotun-cal-20-mm-video-t1463.htm

But i don't know what the handle is off or what it is called.

I dont mind makeing modifications to the gun just as long as it is the same basic thing.

Answer
It's just called a "pressure washer trigger."
To find a place to buy one, do a Google search for that term.
Should cost about $20-40.
