My 11 HP pressure washer is rated 3400 psi. When I put a gauge on it, it only reads 3000psi !?

It is a Craftsman (Briggs and Stratton) 11HP, 3400psi, 4.0gpm rated machine. I only used it a few times since I bought it new. Is Sears exaggerating the specs?

Answer
3000 kicks but, oh well!

Should I use new bolts having an oil pan gasket replaced?

I'm having my oil pan gasket replaced on a 1999 Buick Lesabre 3800 Series II 3.8L. Should I have them reuse the same bolts or get new bolts? If so anyone know what size the bolts are?

Also, will the job involve lifting the engine or removing the alternator? What is a good price and how many hours of work.

I have a slow leak(1/4 quart every 1,000 miles) on the bottom and the oil pressure gauge dances around with 50-60 pressure.

The oil leak has caused 3 starters to fill up with oil and the bottom motor mount is soaked in oil. All the gaskets on the top have been replaced.

Answer
No but if it jas lock washers id replace those. And dont forget to torque them to spec.
