pressure washer 3800 psi image

I just bought a general pump pro flat surface cleaner 4000 psi 8gpm and i have a dewalt 3800 psi pressure washer...
The pressure out of the wand is fine but as soon as i hook it to the flat surface cleaner the pressure drops and its not working right?
There were no instructions with it so i cant really go step by step if someone can help me id appreciate it!

You,ll need a pressure washer with an 4000 psi 8 gallon per minute (8gpm) flow rate to run the surface cleaner . Your pressure washer is only 3800 and probably 3 to 4 gpm .

I am considering buying a Craftsman pressure washer with 3800 max psi and 4 max gpm. It has a Honda GX engine with the TRIPLEX water pump that has an ADJUSTABLE PRESSURE CONTROL.
I have search far and wide on the internet and have called on numerous pressure washer dealers. NO ONE CAN ANSWER THIS QUESTION.
"SINCE IT IS AN ADJUSTABLE PRESSURE, WHAT IS THE RANGE OF PSI ?"
What is the lowest psi that I can set this TRIPLEX pump at?

the pump unit should have the manufacturers name on it somewhere. try to find it so you can contact them to get the specifications. the pump is NOT made by Craftsman.
