My driveway has oil and rust stains that i need to get rid of, says the HOA. How many psi's do i need and what solutions do i use to get the job done. Ive heard there are wimpy pressure washers and it would be a waste of time to use.

Answer
Drive-Up works great on the oil stains. Follow the directions closely. Muriatic acid, sold in 2-1 gallon packs at Lowe's or Home Depot will work on most other stains but NOT oil or grease. Start with about 3 gallons of water in a 5 gallon bucket. Add about half a quart *edit*, agitate lightly, and apply to wet (not puddled) concrete and scrub with a pole scub brush if possible, *end of edit* and see if that works. If not strong enough, add another half quart to the water. Never add the water to the caustic liquids. Always add the chemical to the water to reduce splash potential. Be very careful with this stuff. Use goggles and good gloves. Leave as little exposed skin as possible. As far as a pressure washer, 2000+ PSI. Play around with the different degree angle tips and distance and angle from the concrete. Work in even, straight lines and overlap your strokes a lil' bit. Doing a second pass perpendicular to the first will blend in any lines if you see any.

What kind of sand to use on patio brick pavers for sweeping into the joints?

I'm preparing to seal it as well. I'm going to pressure wash, sweep sand, then seal.

Answer
I have seen regular granular beach type sand, stone dust, and prepackaged from Home Depot or Lowe's granular sand specifically for patio paver applications all being used out in the field.

I installed a paver patio at my last house and used stone dust delivered by a gravel company and it worked great.

I have never seen nor heard of anyone using a pressure washer prior to sanding the paver spaces. Be careful not to ruin your sub-base.

Best of luck!
