Pressure Washer engine oil?

coaster

I recently rediscovered a somewhat old Honda 6 hp pressure washer and want to get it running. I got 2 cycle multi purpose engine oil for it and am hoping that it will work fine. I don't have any information about it with my and therefore cannot look up a owner manual. My question is basically will a pressure washer that needs say 3 cycle engine oil run with 2 cycle?
On second thoughts it seems to be a 5hp and looks like this. http://www.dynamitetoolco.com/BE-PE-2005HWX-5HP-2500-PSI-Honda-Pressure-Washer-p/bep-pe-2005hwx.htm

Answer
Your pressure washer is run by a 4cycle engine which has a seperate oil reservoir. I would suggest using a standard 30 wt engine oil which is recommended for lawnmower engines. A 2- cycle engine oil is used on only in small engines like weed eaters and chain saws and is mixed in with gasoline.

I need a pressure washer for a mobile car wash what type of pressure washer should I be looking for (PSI,HP, and GPM)

Answer
For cars only you simply need a 2000 psi..You definately want one with a ohc engine on it..not the common mower type engine...Most "honda" engines on pressure washers are ohc's (overhead cams)..get one that has a gun that has exchangeable tips and not the ones that you twist the heads to adjust it...these bend and clog up and require buuying a whloe new gun... 5 hp is plenty good..3,5 actually for just cars will
