Pressure washer help!!!!?

Logan Jame

I have a Troy Bilt Pressure washer that won't build up pressure or spray water. It comes out the hose but not the wand. I don't know if it could be the pump or wand? Please help!!!

Easy fix. There is a small rubber washer inside the attachment assembly that needs to be replaced. I use my pressure washer daily and it happens all the time. Home Depot sells replacment "O' ring washers for them.

Last week I reseated the washer on shower taps / faucets, replaced washers, O rings, greased etc -?

and the shower head still drips a little though less than just after the job. I cleaned out the brass chips before turning water on, and turned water on with taps open to flush remainder out. Water pressure here is high as I live near a hilltop reservoir. Restricting the pipe diameter will not lower pressure while the water is turned off. Am I using the wrong type of washer? Can anyone describe the best type? Taps are the old type installed about 40 years ago, not the ceramic disk type that became common in the 1990s.

I suggest you replace the seats of the valves before you go any further...sounds as if the seats have been burred by long past due washer replacement...you will probably have to replace the washers again, for bad seats destroy them quickly...you will need a special tool to replace the seats, low cost, available at the plumbing section of your hardware store...but you must know the make of the faucet before you can buy new seats. Good luck
