pressure washer remove wax on car ?

greecegr

so i had my car waxed and polished ..the finish is great and all but where i live we get a fine thin layer of dust no matter where when or how.. my question is being that i have to wash my car often (like say 3-4 times a week) the only way that they wash a car here is using pressure washer and than drying it with a special towel...the Q : will all of this washing remove wax? my car looks shiny swirl-less and i dont want my car paint to look dull or somehow old. what should i do? reduce washing (which is very unlikely in my case) or wax more often??? thanks for reading all this.

Answer
pressure washers usually don't remove the wax. unless the water is heated. it will over a long period of time. but usually not if you strip and wax like every year or so.
but it likely will do it sooner regardless of temps and soap if you pressure wash 2-3 times a week for the life of the vehicle. which i don't recommend you do.

what pressure washers do is get under any flaw in old paint and will try to lift it. also gets under trim and tries to do the same.
if you really care about the finish and don't want any micro scratches to show over time, never use a dry applicator/duster. never put any towels, mitts, to it unless it's presoaked.

in between actual washes,
i would give it a garden hose rinse when ever needed. buy myself a chamois. if you have a lot of pollen in between washes, you're kinda SOL. need to do an actual presoak and wash to get that off. if left, it will make you strip wax and start over as it kinda melts into the surface of wax. but better the wax than your paint.

Answer
Mobile car wash systems, pressure washers and car wash business opportunities are available at Detail King.pressure washers are designed to be able to drawl water from a standing tank (static source). It does not matter if the pressure washer is a 2000, 2500 or 3500 psi tank it is how the valves were designed in the pump. Check out our line up of pressure washers. Most are equipped with soap injectors and are very easily mounted to floors of vans, pick up truck beds, and trailers. We also offer mobile detail trailers, water tanks and car wash soap for power washers, and pressure washers.
