how do you get a sears 2450 pressure washer to accept soap?

beabearfan

I have a craftsman 2450 psi 2gpm 6.75 hp ,that is suppose to be able to take soap thru a siphon hose but it isnot working. Suggestions , thanks.

Answer
Hose pump system is probably plugged, I believe the soap is picked up from the hose by vacuum created by the water pressure across the soap hose port. You may have to dismantle part of system to repair. But would first try to blow air through the hose and break up the plug do this gently as not to blow a seal etc. If you get it free be sure to run water through it each time you finish using soap as it will keep the soap from plugging.

why my pressure washer does not spray soap?

just bought a pressure washer and it does not spray soap, at the beginning it worked fine but after the second time I had this problem.
It doesn't have exchangeable tips, I just have to rotate the nozzle.
I was told that it might have some air.
thanks every body.

Answer
soap will only come out with only the hose pressure only. you must put the soap in the bucket and add a little water so it can flow easy. after that you have soaped what ever you are cleaning you can star the washer up and clean.
