What do you call the Straight pipe and 4 half cut washers inserted in it to silence the loud motor ?

Q. Can someone tell if the Straight pipe with 4 half cut washers silence the loud Harley Davidson motor along with a baffle maybe? Do you guys know what this is called? I want to make my bike extra quite? is it possible to achieve better results maybe like an oval car muffler. I saw that on a website on howstuffworks.com I guess and it dramatically cuts the noise on a Harley with already with baffles. I can only go 2" and maybe 2.5" tall and maybe 5" wide. Should I loop the pipe and add extra washers or another baffle for maximum the maximum resonation like a car muffler?
Dude don't answer if you don't know what it is if i knew what it was I wouldn't ask to public what it was.

So you buy a 2" pipe and make 2 sets of slices half way on the side of the pipe and 2 more on the opposite side of the pipe with 2-3 inches space. And Cut 2" washers (with tiny holes or no holes) in half and stick them in the sliced slots and that forces the exhaust to go zig zag... It is suppose to silence the motor.. Does it work? What is this called? Help me to keep my annoying motorcycle noise down folks! lol
correction to my art because of the previous whitespace problem...

just opt the "<" out or let's say it's an imaginary exhaust . lol

Old school bikers call these (or the idea of these)"Lollipops". Back in the day when a guy would put straight unbaffled drag pipes on his bike he would need some back pressure for it to run better and not backfire. So they would drill a hole(s) in the side of the exhaust, weld a washer to a bolt, insert the bolt/ washer from inside the pipe and tighten it down with a nut from the outside.

It will also quiet it down, especially with several lollipops. If you are willing to scrap your drag pipes then give it a try, but I don't think this or the configuration you are proposing are going to make it "Extra quiet". Harley's stock pipes are pretty darn quiet.....i hated mine so i took 'em off. You can also buy quiet baffles but almost nothing is gonna make straight pipes as quiet as I think you are wanting.

Dish washer water level?

Mega

Whirlpool quiet partner iv.
Over last 3 years
I have replaced a broken chooper strainer screen.
I have cleaned the water inlet filter twice.
I have disassembled the internal compontents many times to clean debris broken glass paper etc.
I have good water pressure(yes valve is open I dont want to start here)

Lately the quality of washing has been getting worse, I feel that the water level is not getting to the proper level(water pressure and filters are SAT), it never reaches the bottom of the float(yes voltage tests there are SAT). The upper spray arm will not rotate due to low water level. If I add a gallon of water to tub after it starts everything comes out fine and everything rotates. Is there a timer I can adjust so the water valve stays open for a few more seconds, as I have stated the water never gets to the float so something else is stopping the water valve. I am not intending to sound all uppity here I just do not want to start over with "is it plugged in".
Thanks

I would call a local dealership and visit with a serviceman, run these questions past this person to get some answers. Three years is to quick to consider replacement as I believe, that the average dish washer should last 10 or 12 years, Good Luck.
