Pressure washer problems......?

Bob

I have a Honda GC 190 Pressure Washer that doesn't start properly. Very hard to pull the cord. So I checked the oil and the oil came pouring out even though it was on level ground. Now I am thinking that I need to change the oil even though I just did that a week ago. The oil that came pouring out was very runny its like water got into it although I doubt that is possible.

My question is what type of oil should I put in it? (I had SAE-30 in it already)
thinking about filling it up with this --- http://www.walgreens.com/store/c/pennzoil-motor-oil/ID=prod6015629-product

What do yah think?

Also here is manufactures website. (manual)

Answer
I think your engine has a major problem. If there is any fluid in the combustion chamber, it will be very difficult to crank it because neither oil nor water is compressible. If more oil drained out of it than the amount you put into it, either water or gasoline is leaking into the crankcase causing the fluid level to rise up to the combustion chamber. It sounds (from your description) like it's gasoline leaking into the oil, thus thinning it out. Water doesn't dissolve with oil and usually turns the oil a milky white color which is easily seen. You can remove the spark plug and pull the starter rope. if any fluid is in there, it will be ejected through the spark plug hole. If so, you'll have to find the cause and repair it before trying to start the engine.

Leaking Clothes Washer?

CHECKMATE

If the seals are shot on my washer pump, will it leak when the washer is not running, or only when it is running?

Answer
The pumps will only leak under pressure when washing and disbursing the used water out of the drain hose. If the leak is continuing when washer is not in use then there is a bad hose connection or split hose is another problem.

The other is it could be the spindle seal of the agitator could also be worn out and this can be detected if there is any oil mixed in with the water on the floor.

If you cannot fix it yourself then get a repair person to fix the problem.
